To strengthen the communication among the branches of the American Society of Civil Engineers International Student Organization (ASCE-ISG) in China, and to pursue common progress and development, the 7th ASCE-ISG China Regional Exchange Conference was held on February 27th, organized by China University of Mining and Technology. In response to the national pandemic prevention policy, the annual conference was held online. The universities attending the annual conference were The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Macau, Tongji University, Chongqing University, Hehai University, Zhejiang University, Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), Dalian University of Technology, Southeast University, Tsinghua University, China University of Mining and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology and South China University of Technology.

The annual conference started at 9:00 am. The opening address was delivered in sequence by Ma Chengcheng, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee of China University of Mining and Technology, Ma Zhanguo, Dean of School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering of China University of Mining and Technology, Leng Zhen, Chairman of ASCE Greater China Branch, and Wang Gang, Chairman of Student Branch Committee of ASCE Greater China Branch.

Representatives from all the universities then gave their annual reports, and the annual report of SWJTU was given by Han Xiaotong, the current ASCE Vice President. In the report, Vice President Han introduced the development of the association, the main persons in charge of the association and the distribution of the association's departmental staff. At the same time, Vice President Han also reaffirmed the goal of SWJTU association to increase the international presence of School of Civil Engineering and to serve ASCE student members.

At last, President Han pointed out the advantages of the association, as well as some shortcomings. The association needs to overcome the challenges to strengthen the ASCE team's cooperation and promote the reputation of the association. As a well-established branch of ASCE, the association in SWJTU is increasingly rich in activities, such as light boat race, dragon boat race and regular lectures given by professors.

After all the annual reports, ASCE Greater China Branch President Elect Deng Xiaowei gave the concluding remarks. Screenshots of representatives from all the universities were taken before the end of the annual conference.
