An online class focusing on training students’ theoretical ability about high-speed railway line maintenance kicked off. The class was undertaken by the Party School of China Railway Chengdu Group and was organized and taught by the training center of the SCE.

The opening ceremony of the class gathered Liu Jun, the vice president of the Party School of China Railway Chengdu Group, Du Zanhua, assistant to the dean of the SCE and associate professor of the SCE training center, and Meng Penghui, director of the teaching affairs, together with all the teachers in the continuing education center. Chen Muheng was the moderator of the ceremony and he is also the training program director of the Party School of China Railway Chengdu Group.

The opening ceremony started with the introduction of guests present and then a welcome address was given which highlighted the role of the class and encouraged students to work hard. The intro part concluded with a brief introduction of the history of Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) and thedisciplinary settingof the SCE.

Next, Mr. Meng introduced how the online teaching and final examination would be carried out. Students were required to abide by the training disciplines, complete assignments, and sit for the examinations on time.

Finally,DirectorDu introduced theleadteachers and sent her best wishes to the students.

The ceremony wrapped up successfully.
