The Opening Ceremony of Eagle Talent Bridge Tunnel Promotional Seminar (Phase-II), Organized by China Railway 4 Bureau Group Corporation, Successfully Held

The opening ceremony of Eagle Talent Bridge Tunnel Promotional Seminar (Phase-II) organized by China Railway 4 Bureau Group Corporation was held at Room 1234 Civil Engineering Building of Jiuli Campus, SWJTU at 8:30 am, March 20, 2021. Wang Qinghe, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Railway 4 Bureau Group Corporation, Wang Deyi, Executive Vice President of Enterprise University, Professor Zhan Yulin, Deputy Dean of SCE of SWJTU, and Du Zanhua, Director of the Center for Continuing Education, and all teachers of the Center for Continuing Education, attended the opening ceremony. This opening ceremony was hosted by Mr.Wang, the Deputy Chief Engineer of China Railway 4 Bureau Group Corporation.

At the beginning, Mr. Zhan delivered an opening speech. Mr. Zhan said that China Railway 4 Bureau Group Corporation, as one of the Fortune 500 list of companies in the world and a model enterprise of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), organized several training seminars for cultivating special talents in systematic learning and communications. After that, Mr. Zhan briefly introduced the history of SWJUT, the majors and academic research terraces of SCE. And then, he pointed out that the seminar (Phase II) is another collaboration between China Railway 4 Bureau Group Corporation and SWJTU to build a bridge and hoped to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation. At the end of his speech, Mr. Zhan expressed his sincere gratitude to the trust of the enterprise and good luck to all students.

Next, Wang Deyi, Executive Vice President of Enterprise University, delivered a speech. Mr. Wang expounded the training organization, class requirements, systematic requirements and training evaluation of the seminar. The training consisted of rich activities which the enterprise valued. Thus, the bureau set up a training project team to cooperate with SWJTU.

Afterwards, Wang Qinghe, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Railway 4 Bureau Group Corporation, gave the opening speech. Firstly, Mr. Wang expressed his warm congratulations on the opening ceremony and his gratitude to the meticulous preparations for the seminar of SWJTU. Mr. Wang indicated that this seminar aims to meet the needs of modern development and social progress, to cultivate the spirit of life-long learning andmaking improvement for personal progress, to solve engineering problems in depth and provide methods for technical personnel to overcome difficulties. At last, it is recommended that the students should bring the difficulties of engineering practice into the school learning, and then improve from practice to theory. The enterprise has high expectations for all the students in the seminar and hopes that they will cherish this opportunity, work hard, and master essentials.
