The evaluation work will be carried out for the purpose of implementing the guiding principles from Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Further Strengthening of Talent Work, the central leadership’s instructions on accelerating the development of vocational education at the National Working Conference on Vocational Education to promote the construction of high-skilled talent teams, cultivate diversified talents, pass on technical skills, and boost employment and entrepreneurship. The China Graphics Society (CGS) has started the evaluation work of the Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test since 2012. CGS will launch the 18th evaluation work in the second half of 2021. Relevant information related to the evaluation work is as follows. CGS authorized the School of Civil Engineering of Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) to hold the 18th Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test. Candidates who have passed the test will be awarded the Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test issued by CGS. Test registration:

I. Eligibilities:

Registration for the Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test Level I:

1. High school graduates or above (or having equivalent education);

2. Receivers with required training time (300 hours) for this skill;

3. Engineers who have continuously engaged in BIM modeling or related work for 1 year or more.

Registration for the Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test Level II:

1. High school graduates or above (or having equivalent education);

2. Recipients of Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test Level I with required training time (600 hours) for this skill;

3. Engineers who have continuously engaged in BIM modeling or related work for 2 year or more.

II. Documents to be submitted:

The Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test Level I: the front side and back side copy of the ID Card;

The Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test Level II: the front side and back side copy of the ID Card; work certificate stamped with the official seal of the company (continuously engaged in BIM modeling or related work for 2 years or more) or the Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test Level I. Either is acceptable.

III. Test Categories:

Level I requires mastering basic software operation;

Level IIis divided into three categories, i.e. architecture, structure and MPE (short for mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing).

IV. Registration time:

The deadline is November 18th (for this test site).

V. Test Date and Test time:

Level I: 9:00-12:00, December 11th (Saturday); Level II (architecture, structure and MPE): 9:00-12:00, December 12th (Sunday).

VI. Test Capacity:

There is only one test for each level this time. And each test can hold 110 candidates. Candidates who want to take the exam should register as soon as possible. Availability is limited.

VII. Test Mode:

The mode of paperless test (operating on computer on site) will be implemented. Then the tests will be graded by a national standard. Those who have scored 60 points or more are qualified for certificates.

VIII. Test Duration: 180 min.

IX. Registration Fees: The registration fee isCNY 350 per person, including examination registration fee, examination service fee, administrative management fee, etc. (excluding training fee and information fee).

X. Notes:

1. When registering, candidates log in with their member accounts (URL:http://branch.cgn.net.cn/sso/login.do) and then register through the module ofExam of CAD Skill Grading /Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test. After having registered on the official website of CGS, the candidates should contact the teachers at the test site to review the relevant documents, then pay the registration fee. After submitting the documents and paying the fee, the registration can be approved. Please transfer the registration fee to 18349124006 via Alipay. 2. Candidates should prepare digital identification photo, check the personal information, and upload the digital photo by logging into the test registration platform. Photograph requirements: The photo should take up 20-40K, and the pixel size is 250×350 inJPGformat. It must be a large, clear head without a hat on a white background. And it must be taken in a regular photo studio, named with candidate’s ID number.

3. Candidates must fill in all the information such as QQ number and contact phone number when registering. Registered candidates should join the QQ group of the 18th Certificate of BIM Skill Proficiency Test of SWJTU. The QQ group number is 618261523 (in order to inform the various requirements of the test and other issues).

4. Anyone who cheats or disrupts the order of the examination room during the test will be banned for one to two years depending on seriousness of the situation;

5. Candidates who have cheated in the 16th or the 17th test are not allowed to register for the test.

6. Before the exam, candidates should print out the admission ticket by themselves via the exam registration platform.

7. Refund Rule: If you apply for refund more than 14 days (excluding) before the registration deadline (November 25, 2021), you can get a full refund; if you apply for refund 7 days (excluding) but less than 14 days before the deadline, you can get 50% of the registration fee; no refunds will be processed after 7 days before the deadline for registration.

1. Training Time and Content: This test center will offer intensive training before the test in October.
